Steve Brezovec was born in Los Angeles and grew up in the golden age where everyone rode bikes to school. He grew up skateboarding when bombing steep hills was as important as being able to kick flip or being able to skate vert. He moved to Utah, built fires with sticks, lived off the land, and snowboard 100 days of the year. He has also spent time in Denali, Alaska. He has been homesteading in Oakland for six years and has been riding track bikes for half of that time. He rides because he enjoys beating cars across town, and for the complete absorption of the cleanest line. He likes things that need to be worked at where precision, fluidity and efficiency come only with painstaking development of technique. Steve B. will survive the apocalypse.
