Jason Yim was the first turned on to bikes as a kid riding BMX. He got his first road bike his freshman year of high school with its main purpose being for transportation. After moving to San Francisco for school, he decided to get his first track bike. Not knowing much about fixed gears, he taught himself from the ground up everything he knows today. Since then, it has been an important part of his life. He makes it a point every day to just get on his bike and really enjoy riding around San Francisco. Seeing the great level of some of the top riders in San Francisco motivates him to go out and ride. He would like to stick to riding his bike as fast as he can.
